KEEP IN MIND

active-management-practices-will-grow.jpg1) LOCATION FIRST AND FOREMOST.

Do you prefer absolute wilderness, or would you enjoy being within a reasonable driving distance of entertainment, quality health care, etc.?

2) IMPROVEMENTS.

If the tract doesn’t currently have any improvements, can you build on it?

3) RESTRICTIVE COVENANTS.

A restrictive covenant is a legal obligation on a property deed imposed upon the buyer. They are used to limit or control the activities on the property.

You’ll need to think about getting electricity to your property, septic and wells.

5) EASEMENTS

Take into account any easements on the property. An easement gives someone else the right to use your property for a specific purpose, and it transfers with ownership. Don’t assume that if an easement isn’t being used now, that it won’t be used in the future.
