Access your account with TouchID or Facial Recognition
We are pleased to announce that you can now use your fingerprint or facial recognition to log in to your Southwest Georgia Farm Credit account from your smartphone. Southwest Georgia Farm Credit has implemented Touch ID, which will allow users of our mobile app the option of enabling this technology.
If you’d like to try Touch ID, please make sure you update your app. You can then activate it using the following instructions:
- The next time you log in, you will notice an “Enable Touch ID” checkbox. Enter your user ID and then check the “Enable Touch ID” box to activate this service. Please note, this will allow anyone with a fingerprint stored in your phone to access your account.
- If your device is not registered, you will need to answer a challenge question even when using Touch ID. To avoid this, you can select “yes” when prompted to register your device.
- Then, enter your password and Touch ID will be enabled. You will be able to select the “Sign in with Touch ID” option when accessing your account.
If your phone has facial recognition, you will be able to access your account through this feature. After enabling Touch ID, you will be asked “Do you want to allow “Your name” to use Face ID?” Select “OK.”
Please note, if your user ID or password changes, you will need to follow the same process to enable Touch ID again.
We hope you enjoy the convenience of using fingerprint and facial recognition to access your account. If you have any questions, please contact your local branch.
