Tom Griffin Promoted to Risk Manager

Southwest Georgia Farm Credit, a leading provider of agricultural financing solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Tom Griffin to the position of Risk Manager. A dedicated team member since 2019, Griffin has been an invaluable asset to our credit team, previously serving as a Credit Team Leader.
A native of Bainbridge, Georgia, who was raised on his family’s farm in Decatur County, Griffin brings extensive experience in agricultural lending and banking to this role. He has more than 20 years of lending experience, with 15 of those years in the Farm Credit System. His deep understanding of the unique financial needs of the agricultural sector and of farmers’ everyday challenges, will help him in his new role.

In his new position, Griffin will oversee the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures, ensuring that Southwest Georgia Farm Credit remains a trusted and secure partner for our member-owners.
Griffin is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Agriculture.
